No more live cricket for Pakistani fans
Sad news for Pakistani cricket fans as Pakistan has been scraped from hosting the cricket world cup 2011. A decision which is taken following the ‘uncertain’ security situation in the cricket loving country.
Pakistan cricket has suffered badly due to security situation in the country. Teams were found hesitant to tour Pakistan. Things worsened when Sri Lankan cricket team was attacked by terrorists in Lahore on March 3 this year. The Champions trophy was moved out of the country.
Pakistan was due to co-host the World cup 2011 along with India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The ICC will try hard to make sure the matches in these countries are not disturbed as reported by Reuters.
