Now all the Telenor users can send and receives emails via an SMS. Now this is what we call innovation. Every cell phone has the SMS feature so practically this offer is for all those who own a cellphone and a telenor connection.
All emails are pushed to account as an email alert via SMS. These emails can then be read in detail. The Emails can be forwarded to another email account just by replying ‘Forward’ to the email SMS. An instant reply can also be sent by replying with ‘Reply’. There are blocking and filtering features also available with this service.
The service can be activated by sending ‘SUB’ to 555 as an SMS or by clicking here. Monthly charges are Rs. 30 per 1500 email alerts. For replying, forwarding, blocking, unblocking and other relatea fearutes Rs. 0.50 per SMS will be charged. All the charges are exclusive of taxes.
I’d rather use my laptop for that. My e-mail replies are usually long and impractical to be done so on a mobile keypad.
