Without commenting on the topic of SMS checking, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) is now set to crack down on the sale of pirated software and porno CDs in the twin cities. This job is being done by FIA’s Cyber Crime Wing with the help of National Response Centre for Cyber Crimes (NR3C).
Basically a spy survey was held in the markets of twin cities and it was known that there existed a network of the developers of pirated software and porno CDs.
This network consists of people well educated and computer savvy’s, and used modern technology for piracy. Normally licensed software sells in the international market between Rs 25,000 and Rs 75,000 but its pirated version is sold on the local market for Rs 25 to Rs 100.
Steps like blocking the porn sites from the interior ministry may be taken to minimize the issue. Being an underdeveloped country, Pakistan is a victim of conspiracy of the other countries. This special conspiracy is targeted to the youth, which plays the most important part in the development of a country. Hope this is a good step towards the enlightened Pakistan.
