Zaid Hamid is a defense analyst from Rawalpindi. He is quite famous in Pakistan, especially amongst the youth of Pakistan. He is a patriotic Pakistani working to bring truth and awareness to the people of Pakistan. Zaid Hamid runs his company called BrassTacks and hosts a TV show named ‘BrassTacks with Zaid Hamid’ on News 1.

He is very critical of this government in Pakistan and often termed it as the CIA sponsored democracy. Furthermore he has accused India and America to have planned the Mumbai attacks and 9/11 respectively.

In his views the current situation in Pakistan is a gift from America and India who are working to bring down the nuclear program of the only Islamic Nuclear power. According to him America and India fear Pakistan’s nuclear program and term it is a big threat for the sovereignty of Israel and India. He is often found blaming America, India and Israel for funding Taliban in Pakistan.

Zaid was a part of the Afghan war back in 1980′s. He volunteered for the war against the soviet union. After the war he developed his company BrassTacks. BrassTacks is a private think tank and defense analysis consulting group. The company’s website states that

Zaid Hamid possesses the great talent of giving crucial suggestions at crucial times he is indeed an asset for Pakistan.
