ITP officer helping a blind person to cross the road
ITP the Islamabad traffic police has launched a radio service ‘The FM 92.4’. Most of the people do not know about it. It is for the convenience of common people. They have launched this service in order to facilitate people and save their time. They want to make the road management mechanism better.
They have adopted this idea from most of the Europe4an countries. There people are very dependent on such services as they are meant for the benefit of the people. ITP radio service covers all type of traffic issues. They help you a lot in choosing right route for your destination. They update you with ever changing traffic situations in the city.
Currently service is being provided from 7 am to 12 noon. The administration also committed that this service will be offered around the clock within a month. The radio station 92.4 has been setup in the ITP office. This service is generally based on public participation as many people volunteered to provide service free of cost.
The SSP traffic police said that we will be offering much more services in near future. We will launch programs that will teach people the rules and regulations of traffic. This step of ITP will help a lot in improving the traffic of the city and also the people in reaching their destinations in time.
