Arts and Craft Village has finally opened in Islamabad. The tentative inauguration has been done by the chairman of Capital Development Authority (CDA). The village is still in completing stages. The formal inauguration has been planned on 23rd March, 2010. The prime minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani will inaugurate the Arts and Craft Village formally at the planned date.
The village is planned and made quite well by the CDA. The location of the village is also very good. Just at the side of the village China is also constructing a huge widely spread building which will promote their Art and theatre. More then half of the project has already been completed. The only lacking uptil now is this that media and press has not promoted this Arts and Craft Village. It has already been opened for the public. We are looking forward to a big inauguration ceremony of this worth visiting village. Today we bring you a pictorial overview of it.
