Islamabad is very famous for the cultural activities. Many cultural and heritage events are always going on here. Lok Virsa islamabad is the place where these events are organized by the CDA and other partners of it.
Balochistan Lok Mela is commencing at Lok Virsa Islamabad from 30th April to 3rd May, 2010. The timing of the Mela is from 11am to 10pm. The Lok Mela will highlight the culture of Balochistan, handicrafts and artisans work. As we promised we are bringing the pictorial overview of the mela.
Very beautiful and a good effort by the team of Pakiology to bring such cultural activities on its platform which is in everyone’s access.
These folk festivals should be organized more often,as they keep our folk culture alive,intact,strong and at the same time,add to the cultural heritage of Pakistan…
@areeba very true and i am happy that specially in Islamabad such events are now organized quite often and they are also giving importance to heritage museums
I think such events should be organized in other parts of the country too. All the citizens of Pakistan should be informed equally. well i understand that Isb is the capital and so it is treated differently .it is the center of everything, but i just want that such events should also be organized in atleast other 3 big cities of Pakistan
