With spirits really high and hopes elevated, the first day of the International Youth Conference & Festival 2011 begin with the air of festivity and warmth on 19th October. A dinner was arranged for the delegates and organizers at Cloud-9 in Islamabad. Near the beautiful Margalla Hills of the capital city, the location complemented the spirit of the evening. In addition to the delicious cuisine, the dinner also provided an opportunity for all the International and National delegates to interact and know each other.
The dinner served as the first step in the process of bridging the gaps between nations which is one of the many aims the conference aspires to achieve. Many delegates were dressed in their national/native attires which gave the essence of the celebration of different cultures to the dinner as well. Not just this, the music played by the DJ for the night, only added to raise the enthusiasm of the attendees.
The dinner thus, ended with a very happy note and it has marked a very promising start of the conference. With expectations high, everyone is now looking forward to the sessions coming ahead in the conference.
