Clocks reverted – No naya time to confuse us anymore

, clocks have been reverted back to the origional Pakistan Standard Time. Believed to save energy by using greater part of the sun light, all the clocks in Pakistan were advanced by an hour in the start of this summer.

June 28th, 2009The New York times posted a video on Thursday about the life of an American who is running a charity hospital in a small Pakistani village.
Todd Shea, a 42 year old American, came to Pakistan after the October 8, 2005 Earthquake. Even after 4 years, he is still in Pakistani administered Kashmiri village ‘Chikar’, running an NGO. Todd says; “The reason I didn’t feel like to leave was because I felt that I could do something for the children that would last for generations. ”

Pakistan is the new World Champion
Yes we did it! Pakistan is now the World Champions. Rising from no where Pakistan came to the finals, fought hard and won the game for a counrty which had been in the headlines for all the wrong things. Pakistan captain Younis Khan describes it as a ‘gift’ for Pakistani nation.
Some good bowling performances, decent fielding and sensible show from Pakistani batsmen changed dreams of the whole nation into reality. The nation witnessed a single unit performing in the field as the world witnessed a united nation praying for one cause, that is, winning the World cup.
