April 26th, 2009Only some days after the successful launch of ’1 free number package’, Ufone has increased the daily subscription charges to Rs. 36.28 ( inclusive of taxes). Previously the daily charges were Rs. 24.28 inclusive of taxes.
These increased daily charges are applicable on customers who subscribe the ’1 free number package’ on or after April 25, 2009. Those who have subscribed before 25th April will continue on paying Rs 24.28 per day. The per call charges are still 1 paisa per call ( maximum duration of one call is 60 minutes).

Ufone offers new package
Ufone offers yet another exciting package, call on any ONE Ufone number for FREE anytime of the day, every day. This package is ideal for those who love to talk and talk all the time with someone ‘special’. Zong offers the same package but with monthly subscription charges of Rs. 500.
For choosing your free Ufone number call on 160. The free number can be changed any time but with Rs. 10 per transaction. The daily charges of this package are Rs. 19.99. To ensure fair-use per call charges are 1 paisa. The maximum duration of one call is 60 minutes. Call charges on regular Ufone numbers is Rs. 1.00 per minute while on landline and other mobile networks it is Rs 1.60 per minute.
The SMS rates are Rs 0.50 per sms from Ufone to Ufone while on other cellular networks it is Rs. 1 per sms. International sms will be charged with Rs 1.50 per sms. Pertinent to know that a standard sms consists of 160 characters.
